Raid Sunday 1/29/2012

Hello from resident Chain Lightning whore. Just wanted to let everyone know that this weekend from the 27th to the 29th I will be going with my family to Seattle for a weekend to spend there with my grandmother. She used to live near us but her Alzheimer's has gotten more serious and she had to be moved to a "care facility" so that she could live her life. This Christmas was the first she didn't spend with us, so that is one half the reason. The other half is due to my brother leaving for the Navy in less than three weeks as it is an opportunity to have a family get together before he leaves for a while for the next 6 years.

As far as the raid is concerned it shouldn't be too bad as we land back here in California on Sunday at 7:00pm so I shouldn't have to miss the raid I will just be late. The airport is only 10 miles from our house so I'm giving a rough estimate of about an hour to an hour and a half of being late. It may be even earlier should things go smoothly upon our return. Seeing as we did Heroic Firelands on Sunday last week, that means I won't miss any of our Heroic DS attempts if that schedule remains the same for the following week. Jes wanted to let ya guys know early so there could be time to figure out what to do seeing as we are on a 10 man roster currently. Thanks again.

Better be careful... I heard the charge can still hit you beyond the edge of the spell effect. I don't know that I'd consider any part of Seattle to be safe.

I think we are going to be staying at or near Bothell, WA. Don't know the area very well, so I will have to confirm this. I think charge will still hit me there too Taka...
