Im making out like a bandit this year...
I am normally off Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday Thanksgiving Week.
Because our company is recognizing both Thursday and Friday as paid company holidays I am being asked to also take Tuesday and Wednesday off.
The reasoning behind it is because Im normally off Thursday/Friday they would need to pay me 16 hours regular time in addition to my normal 40 hours I worked (Sunday through Wednesday 10 hour shifts).
Too funny. So I work Sunday and Monday then off for 6 days paid without using any vacation time.
