Strategy - Primary
This fight has essentially four phases. Phase 1 is full raid against Jormungar and Mercenaries. Phase 2A is the Gauntlet, which splits part of the raid off as they charge through a gauntlet with various dwarf trash and two mini-bosses to reach Thorim at the end. Phase 2B is the Arena, which splits the second part of the raid but they stay in the original Arena area where the fight began and fend off waves of dwarves while dealing with lots of random Lightning damage and attacks. Phase 3 the raid regroups in the Arena area as Thorim drops down and the full raid faces Thorim alone.

Phase 1 - Jormungar & Mercenaries
Not much here, MT grabs Jormungar and the OT grabs the Mercenaries and raid spreads out to avoid chaining Acid Breath damage.

Once Jormungar and the Mercenaries die, both Phase 2A and Phase 2B begins and pre-determined raid members will split off to handle each Phase 2 section.

Phase 2A - Gauntlet
The Gauntlet raid members should ideally consist of 1 tank (Druid or DK preferred, that can swap to DPS after Phase 2 ends), 1 healer (cast-time healer preferred, such as Shaman or Paladin), and 2-3 ranged DPS.

The Gauntlet group will enter the caged doorway shortly after Phase 1 ends and the door will close behind them. The group quickly proceeds through the hall dealing with two types of dwarf adds (casters and melee). DPS should focus the caster adds first.

At the end of the first hall is a large robot with one cannon on each arm. He will spend the time randomly firing from one cannon for 5-10 seconds, which will spray that half of the hallway with gunfire and thus kill anyone on that side of the hall. Therefore, as the Gauntlet group is clearing, players should keep their camera in view of the robot and watch which side he's spraying and quickly move to the opposite side of the hallway (see 0:50 - 1:50 in this video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OEDE-kEUUjM) for an example).

The trash in the Gauntlet doesn't present much challenge, but the healer should be aware that the tank will have Impale debuff from the Guards on occasion which will tick physical damage until the tank gets healed above 90% health.

The Gauntlet group then reaches the first mini-boss, Runic Colossus. He has a melee cleave and will need to be faced away from the raid while tanking. He also randomly charges someone throughout the fight, and will occasionally throw up Runic Barrier, which reduces his incoming damage by 50% and deals 2000 damage to MELEE attackers, so tank and any physical DPS will need to stop attacks when he gains this debuff.

Once he dies, the group quickly proceeds further in the hall to kill more trash, same as before, except this time the number of adds is not a set amount and will keep respawning until the second mini-boss is pulled.

The second mini-boss is the Ancient Rune Giant and he is the hardest part of the Gauntlet phase of this encounter. His most dangerous ability is Rune Detonation, which is a random debuff cast on a member of the Gauntlet group that roots that targetted player and after four seconds, detonates and deals heavy fire damage to anyone within 15 yards of the player (see 3:43 in this video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OEDE-kEUUjM) for an example of the debuff hitting the Warlock filming and AEing nearly everyone near her). Avoiding the AE damage is up to the players around the targetted player to move away quickly. However, the explosion alone is not sufficient enough damage to kill anyone who is full health.

That said, The Ancient Rune Giant also has a short range physical stomp that will hit the tank and anyone within 10 yards, so it's very important the healer here keeps everyone fully topped off quickly after either the stomp or the Rune Detonation and that ranged players trying to escape the Rune Detonation do not move into melee range of the Rune Giant, in case they get hit by both the Rune Detonation and the Stomp in short succession.

Otherwise, the group kills the Ancient Rune Giant and should hug one of the walls to move through the last hallway to reach Thorim. Once the group is about to reach Thorim, it must be communicated to the Arena group who is still fighting below that Thorim is about to jump down and the tank in the Arena group must immediately taunt and agro Thorim while the raid cleans up any remaining adds on the Arena floor.

Phase 2B - Arena
Like the Gauntlet group, the Phase 2B Arena group will consist of about half of the raid, split for efficient AE fighting. 1 tank (Paladin/DK ideal for AE threat), 1-2 healers (Druids/Priests best so not much cast-time based healing is required), and 2-3 high AE DPS classes (Mage, Warlock, etc.).

Once Phase 2B begins, streams of Dwarves will attack the Arena group. There are a wide variety of dwarf types and abilities (See below), but generally when not AEing, the order should be Evoker > Warbringer > Champion > etc.

With our raid makeup Khrash is the most likely to tank this phase with Kheelan and another healing. The tank needs to be very quick to pickup adds and pull them into the center of the room (indicated by the small circle). Use hammer throw, taunt, 3-target off-taunt, whatever it takes to get all the mobs into the center and into Consecrate where they'll stick on you.

As the mobs stream in and get DPSed/AEed down, the casters/healers will have to deal with two environmental abilities. The first I don't have a name or damage details on, but it's a stream of lightning emitted from one of the seven orbs atop pillars you see around the outside of the room (the orbs gain a crackling lightning graphic to indicate it's active and seeking targets). This lightning will hit the closest raid member and pulses over it's duration. It also jumps to other raid members within 10ish yards of that original target, and so on, similar to chain lightning. However, if no raid members are within range (the range is such that standing in the center circle where the tank is, will avoid the lightning orb's attack), the orb does nothing. However, casters/healers shout not stay in the middle where the tanked adds are as many use whirlwind-type attacks. Notice the range on the lightning orb attacks and how it spreads until no targets are in range.

The second ability is cast by Thorim and called Stormhammer (http://www.wowhead.com/?spell=62042), which randomly targets a raid member and deals damage and stuns them shortly. More importantly, when the Stormhammer hits someone, a secondary small AE called Deafening Thunder (http://www.wowhead.com/?spell=62470) hits, that will damage other nearby raid members and increase their casting speed by 75% for 8 seconds. Therefore, it's important for the Arena group members to stay spread out as much as possible while DPSing dwarves and avoiding getting near the active Lightning Orb. As mentioned, Druid/Priest healing is ideal here so that the 75% cast increase does very little.

Once the Phase 2A - Gauntlet group reaches Thorim, he will jump down and the Phase 2B - Arena tank must immediately taunt and agro him, positioning him in the center of the room as Phase 3 begins.

Phase 3 - Thorim
Tactically, Thorim himself is very much like the second boss of The Oculus, Varos Cloudstrider (http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=27447), in that he uses and ability that charges up from one of the orbs around the outside of the room (a thin line of shooting lightning toward Thorim shows where the charge is coming from), and after a few seconds of charging, Thorim releases that energy into a conal attack starting from Thorim and spread out toward the pillar where he charged the attack. The ability details are listed below under Lightning Charge, but the key factor here is that while the raid stays spread out, players must watch where the Charge is coming from and quickly side step a good 15+ yards to one side or the other, so the post-charge cone does not hit them. It's much easier to visualize after seeing it in action, so see 7:10 and 9:04 in this video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_aY-dJ5rN_o), respectively, for a couple examples of the Lightning Charges shooting in a dual-stream toward Thorim, then shortly after Thorim releasing the charge back in a cone toward the wall.

The second major attack is a simple Chain Lightning Thorim will cast that jumps to players as you'd expect but in this case increases damage each jump. We'll want to position and spread similar to KT phase 2 for this fight so healers are in range of everyone but Chain Lightning won't spread to multiple targets.

Lastly is something for healers and tanks only. He'll occasionally cast Unbalancing Strike, which you'll remember from AQ40 Twin Emporers, causes a huge hit and -defense debuff for a short duration, so tank damage will be very heavy and spikey on this fight.

Abilities - Arena Event
The fight against Thorim is split between two phases. The first one requires you to fight your way to Thorim by fighting multiple types of trash mobs in the Arena, the second one will let you face Thorim himself.

The first part of the fight is split in 3 mini-phases (Jormungar > Iron Dwarves > Hallway). Thorim will use a few abilities during the arena event, do not bother attacking him because he is protected by Sheath of Lightning (http://ptr.wowhead.com/?spell=62276)

Once the NPCs and the Jormungar are dead, a lot of constructs (melee, casters, and healers) will jump into the arena from the stands and you will have to take care of them with only one part of your raid while the other part runs through the hallway on the left to reach Thorim.

Update #2 -- Added a few observations and improvements after our experiences tonight.

Gauntlet Group
3 players is plenty sufficient if the DPS can do high 2800s - 3000 without raid buffs (such as Kinzie).
Interrupts are a must from someone to get the Acolyte healing himself. It usually only took one interrupt per Acolyte as they'd drop quite quickly.
First boss is trivial but a ranged DPS would probably save about 15 seconds since Kinzie and I both had to stop attacking when he used his cloak buff.
Healer can help DPS as Anran did for First Boss especially when Cloak buff is up.
Second boss was also very easy but because adds keep spawning until he's pulled, it's best to kill the initial four spawns (2 acolytes and 2 guards) that are on the steps, then have the tank start moving up. Wait for the next acolyte to spawn and once it's about to die and for sure won't get a heal, the tank grabs the boss. You'll probably have 2-3 Guards on the tank at this point, but it's trivial damage to heal and they don't do anything dangerous and just cast hamstring a bit on the tank.
Stay spread out for the second boss. Less people is more in this case, where the Rune Detonation is very frequent, but Kinzie and I basically never had to move with each of us at max melee range on the opposite side of the boss and Anran healing far away there was never a time where we AEed each other.
If Gauntlet group is tight on time, it appears you can kill the Second Boss while adds are still on the tank (which we did) and start charging to Thorim while finishing off the adds on the way.
Thorim doesn't jump down right away when agroed, so we should be able to have the Gauntlet tank pick him up when he jumps since the Arena tank is sure to have mobs on him still.

Frost and Nature Resist is pretty big from what Im hearing.

Paladin: Frost Resist Aura
Shaman: Nature Resist Totem

A bit of correction, from my perspective:
-Interrupt is not necessarily a must if the DPS have good burst damage, the Acolyte start to attempt to heal when it reach about 50% HP, both DPS should be able to burst down the remaining 12k HP before the acolyte finish casting the heal. Still a useful thing to have, but sometimes it's easier to just burn the acolyte down.
-The thorn aura is 2000 damage, for a slow hitting 2H DPS it is possible to keep hitting the boss as long as the healer is willing to heal him(or in my case, self-healing).
-If possible, try to kill the adds first, since the boss have http://www.wowhead.com/?spell=62942 , even the previously trivial add will now does quite a bit of DPS (the option of burning down the boss to remove the buff is also possible, if the healer doesn't mind the extra damage the tank take)
-By our speed, it is possible to engage the second boss without any add spawning, I'll have to make sure of a few things, but all of our attempt tonight had only the melee mob spawned and no acolyte.
