Strategy - Primary

There are two general abilities that affect the whole raid so I'll mention those first.

Flame Jets (http://www.wowhead.com/?spell=62680) is an unavoidable AE that hits everyone in the raid for a bit of fire damage. More importantly, however, is if you are casting when it hits, you will be silenced for 8 seconds. This means cast-based Healers especially need to keep Ignis focused and watch for him casting this ability so they can quickly cancel any currently casting spell and not cast until Flame Jets finishes.

The second big ability healers need to watch for is Slag Pot (http://www.wowhead.com/?spell=62717). This will randomly port one player to the Slag Pot and deal 5,000 damage per second for 10 seconds. Therefore, this player will need to be spammed by heals for that period of time. Much like Kel'Thuzad's Frost Blast, ensuring Slag Pot does not kill anyone will be key to being successful, so it's very important healers react quickly. Add a new Debuff called "Slag Pot" to your filtered Grid debuffs, just like KT's Frost Blast. I do not know if this damage can be mitigated/avoided via Divine Shield, Frost Block, etc.

This encounter requires two tanks and enough healing to cover their damage intake obviously (2-3). The MT will be tanking Ignis facing him away from the rest of the raid at all times. Ignis frequently casts Scorch (http://www.wowhead.com/?spell=62546), which will hit a 30-yard cone in front of Ignis. The MT should be the only one to ever take damage from this attack.

After casting Scorch, the ground in front of Ignis becomes engulfed in flame. Any player who enters this area takes heavy fire damage every second, so stay out of it. The MT should kite Ignis around the outside of the room similar to Grobbulus, immediately moving him after each Scorch cast. Melee DPS should always attack from the inner-side of Ignis instead of behind him (that is, a melee DPS will be standing so they are between the caster group and Ignis). This will easily allow the melee DPS to move around the Scorch fire and get back on Ignis quickly without running through the flames.

The OT always scans the room picking up the Constructs that break free from around the battlefield periodically. Each time a Construct spawns, Ignis gets a buff called Strength of the Creator (http://www.wowhead.com/?spell=64473) that increases his damage output by 15% and this can stack infinitely. However, this buff can be removed.

To remove Strength from Ignis, the OT must drag a Construct into the flaming ground areas left by Scorch. Ideally, the OT will find a way to have the Construct stand in the Flame while the OT is just outside of it and thus not taking the fire damage as well.

When a Construct enters the flame, it buffs the Construct with Heat (http://www.wowhead.com/?spell=62343). Once Heat reaches 20 stacks, the Construct gains the Molten (http://www.wowhead.com/?spell=62373) buff that causes AE fire damage but allows the Construct to be destroyed. To destroy a Construct, the OT must drag it into the nearby water pool after it's become Molten. Once in the water, the Construct will become Brittle (http://www.wowhead.com/?spell=62382), and can be destroyed. Ideally a ranged caster will be assigned to kill Brittle golems as they must be hit with a 5000 damage attack and upon doing so, will deal a large amount of damage in a short range around them. Therefore, once a Construct is moved into the water and freezes, the OT should run away to avoid that shatter damage.

Once the Construct gets hit for 5000 and shatters, it is destroyed for good and this causes Ignis to lose a stack of Strength of the Creator.

The rest of the raid simply DPSs like normal staying behind Ignis and out of the flame. Management of Constructs and placement of Ignis will be the key.

Ignis will activate the Iron Constructs next to him throughout the fight. You will have to deal with these adds by heating them with Scorch (http://ptr.wowhead.com/?spell=63473) ground effect and run them in the water when they're molten to be able to destroy them.
